Paco Sáez, ha recibido este sábado el Premio Goya 2020 al Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción.
El filme ha superado a El árbol de las almas perdidas, de Laura Zamora Cabeza; Homomaquia, de David Fidalgo Omil; y Muedra, de César Díaz Meléndez.
Sáez y Quirós han trabajado juntos en Tadeo Jones 2 y ambos son profesores en la academia de la productora de esta saga animada, Lightbox, pero se conocen desde hace años «porque trabajamos en una serie de animación en 2011, cuya empresa cerró y nos quedamos tirados cinco meses en Salamanca en la ruina y muertos de frío».
